The video was interesting, and i thought a had a huge cage for my pampered pets! lol. Lately w/ my cavys, I've been having an issue... My two males have not been gettig along for the past month or so. Thier fight's were getting to the point of blood, and alot of it! I had to separate the two, and just today I tried to put them in the same cage and almost immediatley there was a tussle. They've been living the same cage for the past year now, I even bought them together from the same pet store.... I can't figure what went wrong??????

they may be fighting over territory. my guinea pigs have not been getting along just for that reason. they may also be fighting over who's in charge. otherwise i'm afraid i'm not sure what the problem may be. try asking a vet or looking it up on another piggie website.

Thanks so much for teaching me about my guinea pigs! I wanted one so bad, and for my birthday my mom drove me out to a neighboring town to pick up 2 guinea pigs! The people were giving them away for free, and they were in horrible condition. Thanks again for everything guys!! yoyo! i did the same thing for my guinea pig, but i sold cookies, and i needed the money so i could donate it to the shelter that he was from. i hope we can stay in touch, and maybe share stories about our guinea pigs! mine is named beethoven. well, i think you have my e- mail! e mail me! bye! oh, ps, i m only 12.... hehe

If blood is drawn between pigs their relationship is pretty much finished.

What kinda shampoo is suitable for guinea pigs. Can I use Johnson baby Shampoo or a Special shampoo made for them?

Hi I have two female guinea pigs. I have just got them a month ago (they are about 9/10 weeks) and I think one of them is pregnant from the pet store because she is getting really round on both sides of her bottom and is getting very nippy. (I had to get them from the pet store because there are no animal shelters that keep guinea pigs in my area). She is also very uncomfortable when I hold her.
Please can you let me know what you think.

I just wanna say the video you put of bathing a guinea pig really helped me today while bathing mine. I also have a question how big does a guinea pig usually get?

Hey I have four guinea pigs that I don't want anymore, one recently died (which reduced the amount to four) I've had many more t once than 5 and I do not want to experience any more of them passing away. Is there anywhere I can give them to and know that they are in good hands?

creg's list is a great place or guinea pig shelters. there are tons of great places out there!
